  •  United Kingdom
London Transport is composed of various modes. In a very basic way, this general system can be divided into two categories: underground, and overground. The underground is equivalent to the ‘the Underground’ - in other words, the Tube. The overground is made up of buses, National Rail, and other services, such as Docklands Light Railway (DLR). It could, to a further extent, also possibly include taxis.

London systems are, for the main part, run by Transport for London. You can travel easily throughout the capital, no matter the mode of transport you use, by using a railcard, an Oyster card, or even your contactless credit or debit card. Travelcards are available, too. The amount you are charged is based on the number of ‘zones’ you travel through. Taxis are not included, of course.
